INSTALLATION OF NEW DEAN

The Institution and Installation of the new Dean of Belfast will be in St Anne's Cathedral on Friday, 22 June 2001 at 8pm.

The Installation Service will be conducted jointly by the Rt.Revd. James Moore, Bishop of Connor and the Rt. Revd. Harold Miller, Bishop of Down and Dromore.

The Dean-elect, Canon Houston McKelvey, is the Church of Ireland's Education Officer in Northern Ireland. He is a former Rector of St. Hilda's Parish in Dunmurry.

Canon McKelvey is expected to continue the Dean's 'Black Santa' sit-out appeal at Christmas. His appointment was announced last week (Saturday, 12 May).
