Bill number 2 at the Church of Ireland General Synod which will separate the St Patrick’s Cathedral Group of parishes from the Cathedral and create a new parish of St Catherine and St James was passed today at General Synod.

The provision will take effect from the next vacancy in the Deanery of St Patrick’s Cathedral.
