A motion calling on General Synod to extend the appointment of the Select Committee on Human Sexuality in the Context of Christian Belief for a further two years has been endorsed by Synod this afternoon.

The motion was brought by the Revd Gillian Wharton on behalf of the Honorary Secretaries and the extension was provided for in the General Synod resolution of 2013 establishing the Select Committee.
