The competition was run by the Church of Ireland Press Office but externally and professionally judged. This year, the prizes in each category were very generously sponsored by Ecclesiastical Insurance.

First prizes were presented by the Archbishop of Armagh to St Columba’s, Knock (Diocese of Down) for The Columban (best parish magazine), the Dioceses of Derry and Raphoe for n:Vision (best diocesan magazine), and St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, for Cathedral Digest (best magazine for other/affiliated organisations), Bangor Parish Church, Diocese of Down (best parish website), the Dioceses of Meath and Kildare (best diocesan website) and St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast (best website for other/affiliated organisations).  St Gall’s, Carnalea, Diocese of Down, received the prize for most innovative use of social media and the Dean of Belfast was commended for the most engaging blog.
