SYNOD INVITATION CARDS

Three invitation cards were enclosed with the mailing to Members of the General Synod, one for each day of the Synod according to the following colour scheme:

Tuesday: BLUE
Wednesday: PINK
Thursday: YELLOW

Please place the appropriate card in one of the boxes provided at the reception desk at the entrance to the O'Reilly Hall.

MEMBER'S BADGE

The badge enclosed in the mailing to members must be worn on arrival at the O'Reilly Hall and throughout the meeting of the Synod.

VOTING CARD

Please keep the voting card (enclosed with the mailing to members) available during the meeting of the Synod. Clerical members will receive a blue card and lay members will receive a yellow card. The card should be held up for the tellers to count when a vote is being taken. The card is intended to ensure that the person voting is entitled to vote as a member of the Synod and to distinguish between clerical and lay members when there is a vote by orders.

LUNCH ARRANGEMENTS

A buffet lunch will be available in the conservatory attached to the main hall. Advance booking is essential.  Those who have made bookings should collect their lunch vouchers and/or tickets at the reception area in the O'Reilly Hall on Tuesday.

Tea or coffee is available on:
Tuesday and Wednesday - 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
Thursday - 9.00 am to 4.00 pm

Vouchers at IR£1.00 for tea or coffee may be purchased at reception.

The campus restaurant (see map) is open for lunch and the Montrose Hotel, opposite the Stillorgan Road entrance to the campus, serves food in its bar and restaurant at lunchtime.

SECURE CLOAKROOM FACILITIES

Cloakroom facilities are available in the O'Reilly Hall from 9.00 am each day. Coats, bags and anything else not required during the session should be left in the cloakroom.
Members are requested not to leave bags, coats etc in the main hall, which may hinder movement between the rows of seats and may cause an obstruction in the event of an emergency evacuation of the hall. Fire exits are clearly marked.

FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED

All of the facilities for members are situated on the ground floor of the O'Reilly Hall. Please contact the Synod Office at the address below if you require any special facilities.
