The Armagh City Hotel is offering the following special
delegate rates for members attending the General Synod:
Single Room £62 including breakfast per room per night
Twin Room £72 including breakfast per twin room per
night
As there are a limited number of rooms available at these
rates, booking should be made as soon as possible directly

Synod Service
The Synod Service will be held at 6.30 pm on Tuesday 11
May in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh. This will be
a service of Holy Communion taken from The Book of Common
Prayer (2004). The preacher will be the Most Reverend and
Right Honourable RD Williams. The collection at the Synod
Service will be for the benefit of Bishops’ Appeal.
Cloakrooom Facilities
Cloakroom facilities are available in the conference reception
area in the Armagh City Hotel from 9.00 am each day.
Coats, bags and anything else not required
during the session should be left in the cloakroom.
Members are requested not to leave bags and coats in the
main conference room as they can hinder movement between
the rows of seats and could cause an obstruction in the event
of an emergency evacuation of the hall.
Fire exits from the venue will be clearly marked.
Lunch Arrangements
Lunch will be available in the following locations on a cash
basis:
- A buffet lunch will be served in Fisher One (adjacent
to the main conference room).
- Sandwiches and tea/coffee will be served in Fisher One Bar (adjacent
to the conference reception area).
- A carvery lunch will be served in the Callan Lounge.
- Soup and sandwiches and tea/coffee will be served in Spires Bar.
- Pastries, soup, sandwiches and tea/coffee will be served in the Deli
(in the hotel reception area).
- A set two-course lunch will be served in the Friary Restaurant (pre-booking
is required).
Mobile telephones
Members are reminded that mobile telephones must be turned
off when the General Synod is in session.
Facilities for the Disabled
All facilities for members are situated either on the ground
floor (entrance level), or on the lower ground floor
(conference room) of the Armagh City
Hotel. Please contact the Synod Office at the above address if you require
any special facilities. If you require the Synod documentation in an alternative
