Ministry of Healing expands

The Church’s Ministry of Healing is growing in the Church of Ireland with a number of new centres, notably Enniskillen, Portrush, Portadown and Londonderry offering sustained ministry and Prayer Counselling Training courses, members of the General Synod heard on the final afternoon of this year’s session.

Rev Sue Watterson had been appointed Director of the Church’s Ministry of Healing in the course of the year and Rev Pat Mollan was also recently appointed to the role of Deputy Director and Director of Counselling.

The group thanked the former Director and Deputy Director and Rev Charles Maconachie and Mrs Jean Thompson for their work.
